My favorite time of year

Fall is and always has been my favorite season. It’s the time of year where you can wear long or short sleeves, and still drink a cold Celsius but also get a warm pumpkin spice latte. What more could you ask for?
Seeing the leaves change color and the temperature get just a little more chilly is the best feeling. I also love a fall outfit (it’s the best season for clothes), and Halloween is my favorite holiday. It’s impossible to beat.
To celebrate this autumn season, I wanted to share some of my favorite fall things, ranging from snacks and drinks to movies and even music.
Pumpkin
I am obsessed with literally anything and everything pumpkin flavored. Pumpkin muffins, lattes, ice cream and pie are some of my favorite treats in the world – it’s unfortunate that a lot of these things are seasonal items. But it makes fall even more special and gets me excited each and every year.
Halloween
I love Halloween – I love dressing up (I put together two costumes for this year), watching scary movies and decorating my apartment for the holiday. If I had to choose my favorite holiday, I’d pick Halloween with zero hesitation. Some of my most favorite memories are related to Halloween.
Movies
Horror is one of my favorite genres, and I love getting to revisit it every fall. Each year, I try to rewatch the “Scream” and “Halloween” movies, two of my favorite horror franchises, as well as whatever new scary films came out that year.
Spooky episodes
Another fall tradition of mine is revisiting Halloween/fall episodes of my favorite shows. I always rewatch my favorite Disney Channel specials each year, as well as any seasonal episodes of “Friends” and other sitcoms I love. It really helps me get into the fall spirit.
Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac is everything year-round; however, when autumn comes around, it’s extra fabulous. The witchy vibes of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks are top tier and their music always ends up on my fall playlists. There’s no feeling better than drinking a pumpkin spice latte while listening to Nicks’ bewitching vocals.
Jackets
Lightweight jackets are my go-to fall clothing staple. They can go with pretty much anything, whether it be a skirt, jeans or something else, and can layer over whatever top you choose. The outfit combination possibilities are endless and it makes it extra fun.
Boots
My other favorite fall clothing item is a good pair of boots. I’m a big fan of combat boots, but really any boots can be the perfect finishing touch on a fall outfit. Bonus points if they’re comfortable.
I look forward to autumn every year, and always have a blast getting into the seasonal spirit.
