Buy Less, Rent More

By Jamie Santarella

The last time I looked at Rent the Runway's site was in high school when I was searching for a prom dress. I wasn't that impressed with the selection and briskly wiped this option to rent clothes rather than buy out of my mind for a long, long time.

Last spring, Rent the Runway arrived back on my radar. I had heard about their On Campus Representative program and decided to check it out. Through this process, I realized that RTR had a major upgrade. Their selection of dresses, tops, coats, and everything in between was a amazing. I applied for the program and I've been saving so much money, while looking so cute ever since.

Below are some of my favorite pieces I've rented so far:

For Love and Lemons Sloane Faux Shearling Jacket

J Brand Joan Wide Leg Corduroy Jeans

Keepsake Metallic Restless Sweater

RTR recommends the RTR Update subscription for college students. This subscription includes 4 pieces each month with an exchange and free shipping, dry cleaning, and insurance!

If you are a shopaholic like me, RTR is so worth it.
