Spring is my favorite time to stock up on closet staples for outdoor adventures. As the weather turns warmer, I find myself spending more time outside, and nothing beats a new piece that elevates my outdoor adventures. From going on walks, to running, hiking and backpacking (some of my favorite outdoor spring activities), I try to look for pieces that not only perform in the great outdoors, but can also be a part of my everyday life. I try to consider price, quality and sustainability when looking for new pieces, as well as style. Over the past few years, I have found some of my favorite pieces that tick all the boxes, and I would love to share them with you.

Activewear Sets:

You cannot go wrong with an activewear set. There are so many different ways you can style them, and they are perfect for many different activities—like going to class, hitting the gym and of course, being outside. Sets are so versatile, with different styles and colors that make them customizable. There are also many different price points to choose from. Here are a few favorites that I own and love!

Fleece:

I always buy new fleeces at the end of winter, because this is when they are typically on sale! I still get some use out of them before it gets too hot to wear, and it’s a great thing to have in your closet before next fall. Not only can you wear these outdoors, but they make a cold night in or a walk to class more cozy. There are so many different styles and patterns, but here are two of my favorites that I get a lot of use out of! I also would encourage you to look second-hand for fleeces, because they hold up for a long time, and there are so many cool vintage styles available.
