Lola Blankets debuted the first-ever blanket runway show on September 13 for this year's New York Fashion Week. The show displayed their best-selling blankets as well as their winter collection: Heaven on Earth.

The collection had a combination of light and dark neutral earth tones. From snowy white to charcoal grey to earthy green, the winter collection's color palette lives up to its name.

The brand live-streamed the show on their Instagram and posted multiple behind-the-scenes accounts on their Instagram and TikTok.

The models showcased the blankets by carrying them as if they were any other handheld accessories while outfitted in neutral colored street wear.

Lola Blankets is known for soft, faux-fur blankets that are meant to invoke a feeling of comfort when in use.

The blankets are made from OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified faux fur and are double hemmed for durability. Not to mention, they have a four-way stretch and are washing machine safe.

Additionally, Lola Blankets also sells pillows and pet products that reflect everything they have put into their blankets.

The brand is a tribute to Amy Higham, who spent her life devoted to serving others despite years of fighting breast cancer and the treatments that come with it.

During her illness, Higham found comfort in her soft faux-fur blanket that eventually became a comfort to her family as well. Before she passed away, Higham gifted a similar blanket to each of her children to bring them comfort when she no longer could.

In Higham's honor, Lola Blankets created the Blankets for the Brave program, in which the brand gifts blankets to Huntsman Cancer Institute and to women who are living with stage four breast cancer. Additionally, the brand has a tab on its website where people are able to donate money to this cause.
