Post-Grad life is a time full of unknowns and what-ifs. Whether you are moving to a new city, starting a new job or moving back home, what to wear and how to tweak your wardrobe to this new phase of life does not have to be on your list of uncertainties. You do not need to invest in an entirely new wardrobe to feel like your clothes are reflecting this new phase. A few simple swaps and additions can go a long way.

One key element to adjusting your wardrobe to a more grown-up lifestyle is versatility. Find pieces you truly love that can be mixed and matched for all sorts of occasions. One simple piece that can be worn from the office to a night on the town is a trouser. These sleek bottoms can be paired with a blouse or sweater for an office-appropriate look and can be styled with something more sultry and daring for a night out with the girls.

Another key element to add to your existing wardrobe is several basic tops. One key piece is a longline plain white tee. While an ultra-cropped style is fun for a more casual outing, much like the trousers, a longline tee can easily be styled to be office-appropriate as well as more relaxed.

Another addition to your postgrad wardrobe is a quality handbag. Investing in a handbag built to last will add a sleek element to several styles and will last for years to come. Some popular styles include sleek leather shoulder bags and Longchamps. While the idea of life post-college is certainly daunting, the adjustments you make to your wardrobe do not have to be!
