Fans are waiting in anticipation for Harry Styles’ new album
“Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally,” but his initial return to social media and the lead-up to his album announcement were what truly caused shock waves in pop culture. After staying out of the public eye for years, Harry Styles is finally releasing new music, starting with his single “Aperture,” which was released on January 23rd. The rest of the album will come out on March 6th and will begin his long (and slightly controversial) residency tour, which includes 30 days at Madison Square Garden, and nowhere else in the United States. Although fans are ecstatic about the new music and tour, the lack of locations and high ticket prices have caused some annoyance. All of this aside, Harry Styles’s first public appearance at the Grammys and on radio shows such as John Mayer’s SiriusXM show “Life with John Mayer” are building excitement for the release.
Styles fans became anxious when “We Belong Together” billboards started popping up in major cities, along with a short tour video titled “Forever Forever” that was posted to YouTube in mid January. Fans could then sign up for HSHQ text messages, one being a voice memo of Styles singing the words “we belong together.” This ended up being a part of the “Aperture” music video at the very end, confirming that all of the cryptic messages and clues discovered by fans were leading to an album announcement.

Harry Styles also recently announced that he is hosting “Saturday Night Live” on March 14th as well as performing as the musical guest. This will be his first “SNL” appearance since 2019, when he came on for his second album, “Fine Line.” Additionally, on February 25th, Brittany Broski announced that Harry Styles would join her “Royal Court” talk show. He allowed her to listen to one of his new tracks, “Pop,” and it was met with joy and disbelief. However, it is safe to say that most fans would react this way if given the chance to listen to a new song early while sitting across from Harry Styles.
As the Instagram posts from his various accounts announce listening parties, his public appearances increase and behind-the-scenes photos ramp up, fans are becoming increasingly anxious. March 6th cannot get here fast enough.
