After 50 iconic seasons of comedians, artists and hosts commenting on current trends, politics, pop culture, movies and so much more, season 51 of “Saturday Night Live” is continuing this legacy of late-night skits and bringing fresh takes with new comedians. Already featuring A-list hosts this season, such as Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and Miles Teller, with a great mix of musical guests featuring Doja Cat, Role Model and Sabrina Carpenter, this season has already brought the talent.
Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina does it all. Host? Check. Musical guest? Check. Iconic Bombshell? Check. This is not the first time Sabrina has been on SNL as a musical guest, but it is the first time she’s taking on both roles. This ranges from Sabrina dressing up as a teenage boy with a podcast to singing with Domingo. Marcello Hernandez, the talent who portrays Domingo, was even featured at Carpenter’s concert as one of her coveted audience members who is arrested for being “too hot.” This is one way SNL culture has expanded beyond Saturday nights with its new comedians.
Bad Bunny
Do you need a half-time show preview? Well, this star kicked off season 51 packed full of comedy and laughs with SNL skits like Bad Bunny playing Jeopardy, all the way to how the Spanish language was invented. This episode has a surprise visit from K-pop Demon Hunters with a live performance. Featuring Doja Cat as the musical guest, what more could the audience want?

Glen Powell
This up-and-coming actor hosted this past Saturday, November 15, with Olivia Dean as the musical guest. Whether it's “Anyone But You” or his new TV series “Chad Powers,” Powell can pull off the romantic interest and an unusual football player, but did he do SNL justice? The answer is yes! After his SNL episode was cancelled just four Christmases ago, Powell was able to host with even more relevance and acting skills under his belt!
We are not even halfway through this season, so make sure you are keeping up with the latest episodes and current trends…And it’s Saturday Night Live!
