The Perfect Pinterest Fall

Fall is the perfect time to wind down and spend quality time with friends, watch cozy movies, read comforting books and so much more. Pinterest is the place for inspiration of all kinds, but it’s especially motivating during this time of year. Looking at pins for just an hour between classes has encouraged me to make a new fall playlist, watch three new movies, plan a fall-themed day trip and even add to my future travel plans.

There are many music, movie and TV show recommendations for the perfect fall vibes, so it’s hard to choose just a few that best the others. “Gilmore Girls” is, of course, the one show that many people may think of during the fall because it’s the time most start to rewatch. There are dozens of episodes that couldn’t be better for the season, filled with coffee, pumpkin pancakes and cute outfits. “Friends” is another favorite to watch during this time, especially during Thanksgiving, due to the many “Friendsgiving” episodes. These moments may inspire college apartment Friendsgiving parties before returning home for break. Pinterest has great fall movie choice ideas, too, like “Little Women” or “When Harry Met Sally.”

Fall is also my favorite season for music. There are countless comforting songs that are perfect for fall walks to class and studying at Starbucks. Noah Kahan and Hozier are fall staples for me, as well as multiple Taylor Swift albums like “Red” and “evermore.”

The ideal fall day can consist of lots of different activities, which is why a quick visit to Pinterest can help plan the perfect lineup. To me, starting with coffee and a cinnamon roll at home sounds pretty great, but maybe you would rather go out to breakfast with friends or family. Shopping with friends and stopping at Trader Joe's seems necessary, too. Making a trip to a pumpkin patch or farmers market should be included as well, and all of this is surely done wearing a cozy outfit and Uggs. Painting pumpkins while watching a movie would be the best way to end the day. It’s so much fun to plan during the fall, and even better with a new Pinterest board, so go grab a pumpkin spice latte and open up your computer.
